Szopeen

Szopeen

Growing up in Warsaw, Tarchomin, Szopeen absorbed the hip-hop culture from an early age. Two years after the release of his debut EP, he returned with a mixtape that solidified a loyal following and put him on a map as an exciting newcomer in the local rap scene.

The 2016 EP "Nowy Wtap na Drugi Etat" established Szopeen's signature, laidback vibe and his candid, lyrical style. Its unique tone, combining an old-school sound with a modern, creative twist, opened up new artistic paths for the artist and introduced him to a larger audience.

Following a string of popular, digital releases that created a lot of buzz around his upcoming projects, he put out the 2017 "Ex Ep" with guest appearances from Gvrilla and Had Hades and landed a feature on Quebonafide's hit-EP, "Dla fanek euforii".

His first official LP, "Na początku", was released in 2018 and debuted in the Top20 Polish album charts.
