CatchUp is an artist who, despite the pandemic reality of 2k20, can definitely count the past year as successful. The great vocal potential and original style of rapping - as well as an unconventional approach to music production - have been noticed by both the leading representatives of the hip-hop scene (double feat at Taco Hemingway's "Jarmark" LP and some banger beats for Gedz), as well as opinion-forming music media (newonce.net defined CatchUp as the one of the most interesting newcomers at the urban music scene).
This graduate of the School of Modern Music has also made a brilliant (and double) performance as part of the Hot16Challenge2 campaign, where he performed both as CatchUp, and also as the record-breaking tiktok personality Tom Schklaneck. "Danse Macabre", a hit single released at the end of May 2020, is a kind of capstone of those efforts, cause it has already received over 9 million views on streaming services.
On the 20th of August 20 CatchUp debut album, "Perpetuals" will be released by the 2020 record label. It is a project which was announced by the three premiere singles from the last few months - "Parę dni", "Tik-Tok" and "Weird Flex" - with guest apperances from Gedz and schafter.
