Warsaw’s JWP crew has been a vital part of the local hip-hop scene since its early
days. Their official debut “Beztrosko”, as well as Kosi’s feature on “Graffiti”, were
both released by Prosto in 2001 on Waco’s “Swiezy Material” LP.
Ero, Doni, Foster and Kosi’s first long-playing album as JWP came out in 2007.
“Numer Jeden Wróg Publiczny” was named one of the 5 best hip-hop albums of all
time by Przekrój magazine.
The past few years of JWP’s activity have finally seen the hit street singles
“Tworzymy Historie”, “Panorama”, “Blam” or “Szesnastki” come out on vinyl.
Promoted with video clips shot across Europe, Asia and North & South America,
these releases have helped write some of the most interesting pages of Polish rap’s
The first LP recorded in a constantly expanded crew (so as JWPBC) is “Sequel”, which was released on the 16th of October 2015. Its continuation was the mixtape "20" (2017) released for the 20th anniversary of JWP's existence. The following years brought plenty of projects signed by individual members of the group: "Huśtawki" by Siwers (2017), "WSK8OFMND" (2017) and "Szum" (2019) by Jetlagz, "Blackbook" by Ero & Kosi (2019), Ero's solo debut " Elvis Picasso "(2019) and finally Kosi's first solo album "IS.OK" (2021). The latest release under the common flag is the mixtape "Koledzy" from May 2020, mixed entirely by DJ FALCON1. Beside Kosi's solo LP in 2021 we can expect three other solo projects under the sign of JWPBC from Ero, Łajzol and Siwers.
