OKI is an artist from Lubin born in 1998. His debut solo album "47playground" not only hit the 2nd place of OLiS, but also the domestic mainstream, where OKI successfully builds his unique position on the music market. The considerable artistic potential was confirmed by the "77747mixtape" project, which was awarded the status of ZPAV's gold certified album, released in autumn 2020. For both of these records, he received the Empik Bestseller award as the discovery of the year in the "Music" category in February 2021.
The artist in 2021 was, together with Young Igi and Otsochodzi, an co-author of the hit project "OIO", whose LP was covered with certified triple platinum issue. A year later - on June 10, 2022 - the solo album "PRODUCT47" hit store shelves, promoted by the viral singles "Jeżyk", "Jakie to uczucie" and "Pieniądze dziewczyny zwrotki". In opposition to many other artists who avoid being compared to a product, OKI was completely unafraid of this label. And the artist's tour accompanying the release of the album proved that OKI and his growing number of fans are creating a real movement.
An important stage in the artist's career was his work on the album club2020, the flagship project of the 2020 label, bringing together the biggest stars of Polish hip-hop. The fruit of a joint recording session in Gdańsk became a diverse and multidimensional album, showing a full stylistic cross-section of contemporary rap. And all this in the spirit of surprising artistic exchanges and collaborations, where artists representing different trends and musical styles meet at every step. club2020 was released exactly on March 10, 2023.
In the meantime, OKI has formed an impressive collaboration with Jerremy Sochan himself - a rising NBA star - which resulted in a viral video shot in San Antonio, USA. The single made its way onto the rapper's latest solo album, the "ERA47" CD, released on June 7, 2024. In terms of momentum, musical quality and attention to every detail, this is an unprecedented project in the artist's discography to date.
"ERA47" is expected to make a lasting mark on the entire domestic rap scene. And it can succeed, because OKI has all the assets to do so. Hunger for success, ambition, exceptional vocal skill or, finally, stage energy and charisma, which in a short time elevated him to the group of the most popular Polish rappers. The album has already gone platinum in preorders and is on its way to double platinum status.
