Margaret is a singer, songwriter, composer and definitely one of the most popular artists of the young generation. She has recorded five studio albums and two among them - "Add The Blonde" (2014) and "Just The Two of Us" (2015) - were awarded platinum.
She started her music career in 2013, and her single "Thank You Very Much" was listed on the official sales charts in Austria, Germany and Italy. Thanks to her talent and extraordinary personality, the singer quickly signed an international contract and spread her wings under the supervision of professionals.
Despite her earlier achievements abroad, after recording the album "Monkey Business" (2017), she decided to turn her career and record her first 100% Polish-language album. "Gaja Hornby" is a mature, honest and devoid of big-budget glitz production. It was a material showing a completely new face of Margaret, and at the same time the beginning of changes, which fully materialized on the album "Maggie Vision" released in February 2021.
The latest album consists of 14 premiere compositions produced mainly by Kacezet. Margaret returned with the album, which on the one hand is the result of her musical fascinations (hip-hop and modern sounds of urban music - among the guests are Otsochodzi, Kizo officially, Young Igi, Kukon and 3y Gun Kara), and on the other hand, the necessity of telling some important things that have recently happened in the artist's life.
The artistic metamorphosis was also the result of changes in the business field. Margaret decided to break the existing contracts to create her own songwriting-music producing team, and then focus on the development of activities supporting young talents, which was inspired by being one of the juries in the TV show "The Voice of Poland".
The artist is currently working on her own label, Gaja Hornby Records. In addition to the patronage over young stars, Margaret wants to devote additional attention to women, because: "she knows how many difficulties they have to face, so there's still a lot of things to do to improve the music market in Poland".
