Piotr Szulc, known as Steez83, is a music producer, DJ, and co-creator of PRO8L3M, one of the most influential projects on the Polish music scene over the last decade. A turntablism enthusiast, he has spent years developing a distinctive musical language of his own, in which hip-hop roots intersect with broadly defined electronic music and science fiction aesthetics.
He is the recipient of numerous distinctions, including a Fryderyk Award and the Gdynia Film Festival Award for Best Original Score.
He is also the founder of Revolume and co-founder of the 2020 music label. His DJ sets combine rap with pop, avant-garde with the mainstream, and futuristic club deconstructions, while a selection of his musical inspirations can be found on the 83FM playlist on Spotify.
