Bez Cenzury is one of the most highly regarded collectives on the Polish hip-hop scene. Founded in 2005 by Eros (JWP), Łysol (Wwarstwa) and Siwers (Reposta), the group was the result of friendships and close ties formed during the Kaligrafix series of events at the C45 club in Warsaw. The events co-organized by Ero featured regular concerts and reviews of the work of underground rap crews from all over Polish capital.
The result of the collaboration between the three artists was an album with the prophetic title "Klasyk", which was recorded in just six months, and released on February 23, 2006 by Embargo Nagrania. This LP quickly entered the canon of Polish rap, showcasing a very fresh and catchy side of Warsaw's hardcore hip-hop scene. It was on “Klasyk” that the unforgettable singles “Bez Cenzury”, “Przesiąknięci Dźwiękiem” and the cult, almost 11-minute posse cut “Reprezentuję Siebie” appeared. The lion's share of the music on Klasyk was produced by Siwers, but there were also compositions by artists such as Dezmond, Luxon and Kuba O.
Soon, Bez Cenzury (also abbreviated as BC) became an integral part of the JWP group, which led to the expansion of the collective's name to JWPBC. The group has been recording in this lineup since at least 2012, when they released the cult vinyl maxi-single “Tworzymy Historię” (hiphopheadz.pl).
On September 12, 2025, Eros, Siwers, Łajzol, and Falcon1 will kick off the BC Klasyk On Tour with a concert in Warsaw, followed by shows in Białystok, Gdańsk, Katowice, Lublin, Kraków and Poznań.
